STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York’s Finest are known for taking some hard knocks and Thursday they will take them for a special cause — to support the Autism Foundation.
The NYPD Fighting Finest Boxing and the Sergeants Benevolent Association are presenting “Knocking Out Autism” and they have raised the stakes by challenging the the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Sheriffs and the Puerto Rico Police.
There won’t be any Staten Islanders in the ring, but Tottenville resident Pat Russo is helping to make it all happen by promoting the “Night of Police Boxing Coast to Coast.”
